Fishin' For Kisses!

Let's go Fishing... Fishin' for Kisses! Today I'm showcasing a project with the adorable set Gone Fishing from Paperie Ink.  This is also for the new challenge at MarkerPop it's all about Brights!

I created a fun Distress Ink background for this with some Watercolor Paper & Archival Black ink. I stamped the images onto a piece of watercolor paper and then I covered them with masking fluid. Once that was dry I smooshed some Distress inks onto my craft sheet and spritz the inks with water. I smooshed my watercolor piece into it several times letting each later dry in between.

Once the background was dry I peeled off the masking fluid and then I colored the fish & sentiment in with some Peerless watercolors. Once everything was dry I added some clear Wink of Stella randomly over the background for some fun sparkle. (Click on the photo below to see the shimmer better). I mounted the watercolor panel to a Daffodil Delight card base and added some fun Aqua & Clear Sequins.

This set is a 4x3 and super cute for Love, Valentine's, class treats or just a fun kid card. Be sure to heave over to the Paperie Ink Facebook page to see some more great projects made with these sets. Oh and there's Free Shipping until February 28th!

The MarkerPop challenge is open until March 9th.

Thanks for stopping by today!
