Tooth Fairy fun with the Alley Way Stamps!

Happy Saturday.. I hope your weekend is off to a good start! Today I have a fun project for you using the fun new set from the Alley Way Stamps called Tootharina. This set is perfect for younger kids who are loosing teeth!

My youngest son has a loose tooth and I thought how fun would it be to create a postcard he could put under his pillow for the tooth fairy. Our tooth fairy forgets to stop by sometimes, so we are hoping this will remind her a bit better.

I cut a piece of Watercolor paper down to postcard size and then I created the postcard with the stamps from the set. I embossed a few of the smaller teeth in white embossing powder. Then I created the background with some Distress Inks. I sponged them onto the card leaving white in the center and then I dropped some water onto it.

Once that was all dry I had my son write his name on it and I added it to a standard size card base and added some doodles around the edges. I wrote "Place tooth here" on the Large tooth so you could see where you'd put the child's tooth. You could adhere it with a mini glue dot or add it in a small bag.

I think it would be really cute if it was added to an envelope with the tooth. Then create a return post card and add the Money to it. This would be a great tradition to start with a small child.

Be sure to head over to the Alley Way Stamps Blog and see some more great projects with this month's release! And don't forget to Link up with your TAWS creations for a chance to win!

Have a great day!
