It's been a while...

Happy Saturday everyone.. It's time for a new the Alley Way stamps project and today I have a quirky card for you.

I'm using the new word stamp set called Yappy and one of the images from the set Wigwam. So what's so quirky about my card.. we'll you gotta wait till you see the inside.

I used a stencil to add some dots in the background of my card base in the same color as the base. and then I stamped the cow skull onto a piece of paper and colored it with Copics. I stamped the sentiment from Yappy onto the front of the card and heat embossed it in white. And then I added some twine behind the skull and adhered it with dimensionals. I felt it needed a little something so I added a few wood dots.

On the inside of the card I stamped another sentiment from Yappy and added a light image of the skull. Do you get why it's quirky? It's been awhile.... skull? Okay maybe it wasn't that funny, but I thought it was cute!

Be sure to head over to the Alley Way stamps Blog and see some more great projects from the Design Team and we hope you will join in our Monthly Challenge!

  1. Holly not quirky at all. My first thought was long horns as in the type of cattle the skull looks like.So see you aren't the only one with a quirky sense of humor!! Enjoy your blog immensely.

  2. Hee hee....very clever and fun card. Love that bit of twine and the wood dots on the front. This card is wonderful!!!
