Feeling Icky?

This card is so perfect for me right Wednesday and time for some more fun with the Alley Way Stamps. Today I'm showcasing the new set Say it Don't Spray it and last month's release set Hard Boiled.

I was struck by an ick early Saturday Morning.. and it's still lingering and my kids were both sick earlier this week and my youngest now has pneumonia.. so we're "feeling icky?" around here this week.

I created a Kraft card base and added a piece of pattern paper from my stash and die cut a window in the front. Then I masked part of the sentiment from Say it don't spray it with some scotch tape and inked it up. *make sure you remove the tape before you stamp on your

This is a great way to stretch your stamps and get more use out of them. I punched out the sentiment and a second one from some Olive card stock and created a drop shadow then I adhered just the edge with dimensionals. Then I added some twine and a few wood dots.

On the inside I added a white panel and masked the other portion of the sentiment and stamped it in black and Olive inks. Then I stamped the chicken with a few fun accessories from the Hard Boiled set and colored him in with Copics. So cute!!! If you click on my first photo and enlarge it you can see the Wink of Stella on the Chef's hat.

Head over to the Alley Way stamps blog and check out some more great inspiration from the Design Team and we are sponsoring the CAS-ology Challenge this week. You can play along for a chance to win the Iconic set!
