A little Nautical Thanks!

Howdy Ya'll.. it's Wednesday and time for some more fun with the Alley Way stamps. Have you picked up some sets from the May release yet? All of the sets are so cute!!

Today I'm using the Somethings's Fishy set.. along with a sentiment from Tickle Me Happy. I paired the whale image with some fun Maritime papers.

I die cut a stitched rectangle boarder around the white card base. I added some pattern papers that were die cut as well with some stitched rectangles and I added some twine around bottom of the pieces. I stamped the whale image and colored it in with Copics and trimmed it out, then I die cut a stitched circle and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink. I adhered the circle to the card front with dimensionals and then I added the whale image. To bring the neutral color of the twine in more I added a few enamel dots. This is a great masculine card, you could change up the sentiment for Father's Day or Birthday as well.

Head over to the Alley Way Stamps blog to see more fun projects using this Month's New Release. And don't forget to show us your project for a chance to win this month!
