Watercolor Blog Hop!

Happy Monday everyone.. This week at Sunday Stamps we have a great color challenge and today is the last day of the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop! I created a video to go along with these cards but it's taking a wee bit longer then expected to process so look for that on Tuesday.

Aren't this colors gorgeous.. I love the neutrals with the pop of the sky color.

The original card I created I used some Soft Sky in for my background color along with a Chocolate Chip card base. On the second card I used the same brown shades but a more blue color for the sky from my watercolor set. I used some Peerless Watercolors and the Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36 color set.. I love these watercolors!!

I stamped the feather from the Alley Stamps set Tickle Me Happy multiple times onto a piece of watercolor paper in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it in white. Then I colored the feathers in with two shades of brown watercolor and then I used some Soft Sky ink for my background color. I stamped the Thanks sentiment from the Tickle Me Happy set onto a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock and trimmed it into a flag shaped and adhered it to the watercolor panel. Then I mounted the panel onto a Chocolate Chip card base.

In the video I have coming up I created this card using the same set, changing up the sky color and another fun sentiment from the Tickle Me Happy set.

There's still time to join in the Watercolor Blog Hop it ends tonight at 11:55pm PST. Be sure to hop around there are so many great projects... it will be sure to inspire you!
