Watercolor Flowers...

Happy Tuesday everyone.. Today I have two cards for you using the new My Favorite Things sets Watercolor Flowers and Written in Watercolor. This new watercolor flower set is perfect for those who love the look of watercolor but aren't a fan of using watercolors.. You can get the same look using ink pads! Both of these sets are available in the Right at home shop along with all the other fun products from the June release.

On the first card I stamped the flowers and leaves onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock using the Altenew inks.. These inks are so crisp and they stamp solid every time! Once I had the flowers all stamped where I wanted them I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Black ink in the center of the panel. This sentiment set called Written in Watercolor is perfect to use with this set or any project where you want a bold statement.. and it's perfect for many occasions.

I added the image panel to a black card base and for a touch of bling I added some black sequins in 4mm & 6mm sizes. I really like how the black sequins look with the pops of black within the images.

For my second card I stamped it the same way with the images in the center and then the bold sentiment. I used several different inks from Stampin' Up! I liked how they blended out a bit and gave it more of a painted look.

I added the panel to a Old Olive card base... The Olive base let's the brown flower centers really stand out. I added some sequins in Sparkling clear for a touch of Bling. These are two really fun sets... I'm looking forward to creating more cards with them. These are perfect for creating card sets to give to a friend of just create multiples of the same card.

Head over to the Right at Home shop and check out the rest of the MFT June release you will love it and stop by the blog and see the gorgeous card Nicole made with this set!
