Shake, Shake with the Divas

Happy Tuesday... today I have a fun Shaker card using the Two Paper Divas stamp Peace & Joy. This is a great sentiment stamp for Christmas cards. I love the different fonts they used in the sentiment.

I created a white card base and then I die cut a square from the front panel and a created a template using a pencil on the inside panel. I stamped the sentiment inside and heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder.

I created a second panel for the front of the card and trimmer it an 1/4" shorter all the way around and die cut another square and embossed it with striped embossing folder in the Big Shot. Using the Fuse tool and a Gold Shaker mix from Lucy Abrams I created a shaker pouch and adhered that over the opening in the front of the card. I added the embossed panel over the front of the card using dimensionals and then I created a Gold Glitter frame from some additional square dies and some Gold Glitter paper. I tied some Gold Thread into a bow along the bottom of the front to fill in that white space a little.

This is one of those cards you have to see in person.. It's very shiny lol. Head over to the Two Paper Divas blog for more inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Beautiful! This does emboss really well! I also hate that all the detail doesn't show up as well as I wished! The more you all do with this sentiment, the more I think it might be my new favorite holiday sentiment stamp. You guys all have great ideas!
