Creepy, Crawly with the Divas

Boo!!!! I wish it was Halloween... that's my favorite time of year when the weather turns and the smell of Fall is in the air. Then again it's only like 71 here today so you could say it is Fall. Today I have a fun card using the Two Paper Divas sentiment stamp Creepy Crawly Halloween

I went with "Grungy" for my card.. Who doesn't like to get messy once in awhile!! I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of pattern paper that has a Halloween definition on it and die cut itout with a small stitched rectangle from Lil' Inkers. Then I sponged the edges with Spiced Marmalade & Black Soot Distress Inks. I did the same to two other pieces of patter paper from the same pack. Then I added a few splatters of Picket Fence Distress Stain Spray and a few Spritzes of Black Soot Marker.

I created a Pumpkin Pie top folding card base and I sponged some Black Soot onto the edges of that as well and layered the pattern papers. I added some Black Twine I had laying on my desk and a Pumpkin Pie button. I recently did another crafty purge and while purges can be sad, it allows you to find things you didn't know you had or it can make it easier to know what you have so you use it more! Basically I found a Button stash Ha Ha

Head over to the Two Paper Divas blog for more inspiration.. Our September Release is just around the Corner!
