Today I'm over on the Alley Way Stamps blog with a watercolor card using the beautiful Rose from the Swee-tea set and some Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
I stamped the rose image in some VersaFine ink several times onto a piece of watercolor paper and die cut it with a creative cuts from Mama Elephant. Then I colored each flower in with Violet and Deep Violet Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Once they were dry I die cut the word Hello from the panel using a die from Lawn Fawn. I then cut the hello out 2 more times from some black card stock.
The grey shadow around each flower was created with Copics C0,C1 & C3. I inlaid the hello starting with the two black pieces first and then the original piece offset on the top. The Black creates a drop shadow this way. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Hello piece and mounted the panel to a top folding Black card base using some foam tape.
Head over to the Alley Way Stamps blog for more great inspiration!
