Smile

Hi everyone.. Today the Perfect Paper Crafting Team is joining in a Blog Hop with Impression Obsession Stamps.  I created two cards today using Rose Set 2 and the Smile set and Die

I started out by stamping the Roses on some White card stock using several shades of Yellow Inks. Then I trimmed the panel to the size I wanted using the Perfect Ruler, Perfect Cutting Mat and an X-acto knife. Then I stamped the sentiment in Black ink. I added a few splatters of Green ink around the image with a damp paintbrush.

Then I die cut the Smile from a piece of Black card stock and adhered it with a glue pen. Using the Perfect Layers Tool I added a 1/4" Black border around the White panel and then adhered it to a Yellow Card base. I wanted a bit of Sparkle so I added a few Clear Sequins.

My second card uses the Same set and Die.

I stamped the images in several shades or Red and the leaves are stamped in several shades of Green inks. I added a Blush boarder and then adhered the panel to a Black top folding card base. I die cut the sentiment from Black and White card stocks and adhered them offset creating a drop shadow. I added the sentiment over a Vellum Banner to allow it to standout from the Busy background. And I needed to add a few more Clear Sequins of Course.

Head over to the Perfect Paper Crafting Blog to see the other Design Team members projects and Hop along with us.

Thanks for popping in today!

  4. Wow, beautiful cards! I love the rose background in the second card and how you didn't cover it up by using the vellum and clear sequins (great ideas). Wonderful job! :) Thanks for sharing.
