Merry & Bright!

I'm running behind with my post as Anyone find those 4 extra hours in the day yet we need?  I was up on the MarkerPop Blog with a new video and a card that's perfect for those last minute cards. I'm using the new Neat & Tangled May your Holidays Be set and then Hexastar Stencil.

I started by created the background on a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor card stock using some Hickory Smoke Distress ink and the Neat & Tangled Hexastar Stencil. I trimmed the panel to 4 x 5 1/4" and then I adhered it to a Licorice card stock base. I stamped the images and sentiment from the May Your Holidays Be Set onto some Neenah Solar White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images in with Copics in the following Colors: R000, R00, R11, C3, C1, C00 & O. The star image in the center of the ornament is stamped in Lawn Fawn's Hippo ink.

I die cut the images with the coordinating dies using my Big Shot and then I adhered them to the panel using some Foam adhesive. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Ornament top and some Sparkling Clear mixed Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for a touch of Sparkle. This is a great card to mass produce and you can change up the colors.

Check out the video below for more details on how I created this card.. Hope you are having a great weekend!
