YNS Feature Day!!

It's time for our June Feature Day at Your Next Stamp! This month the Design Team was challenged to create a project with Two or More Stamp sets.

Usually, I try to use more than one stamp set in my projects but I'm not going to lie my stash has become somewhat overwhelming and I have no idea what's in there anymore. Ha Ha,  So I was excited to have this challenge. I combined Three sets for this Halloween card.

I started by stamping the Batty Background Splatter set onto a piece of Watercolor paper in VersaMark ink then I heat embossed in it in Clear. Then I smooshed some Wilted Violet Distress Ink all over the image. Once that was dry I added some water drops and dabbed the excess off with a paper towel. Then I adhered the panel to a Top folding A2 size Black card base.

Then I stamped the image and speech bubble from So Corny onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock using Black Olive ink and I colored it in with Copic markers. I used the coordinating So Corny Dies to cut the image out and then I adhered it to the card front using some foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from Fang-Tastic onto a strip of Black cardstock and trimmed it into a banner and heat embossed it in White. Then I adhered the strip just under the image.

Head over to the YNS Blog for more Fun projects from the team and be sure to leave a Comment while you are there for a chance to Win a Stamp Set of your choice.

  1. This is a great Halloween card. Like the combination of the background color with the candy corn image. The sentiment is a great choice--works with the image and is so much fun. TFS.
