Oh, Buck!!

It's time for our Monthly Design Team Dare at Your Next Stamp and this month we were challenged to create a Guy themed card. 

I'm using the Super Fun Krash the Horse set and it's coordinating die, and a sentiment from Acorn Fall Fun.  I die cut two pieces of Bristol cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle dies and then on the one piece, I also cut a hill using the Double Stitched Hillside die set. Then I added some Distress Oxide ink in Vintage Photo to the Hill panel and Wild Honey and Fossilized Amber to the Sky piece. I laid a wet stencil over the sky piece for a few minutes them lifted it off to create the sun rays. 

Once those two pieces were dry I added them to a White card base and stamped the sentiments from Krash the Horse and Acorn Fall Fun. Then I stamped the horse image onto some Bristol cardstock and colored him in with Distress Markers and a water brush. I used the coordinating die to cut him out and adhered him to the card front with some foam tape. I love these two sentiments together and it's perfect for a "Guy" card.
