Newton's Nook Oct Release Day 3!

It's Day Three of the October Release from Newton's Nook Designs and today we are sharing the Holiday Stocking Stamp and Ornamental Wishes Stamp sets and the Ornamental Shaker Die set. The Holiday Stocking stamp set coordinates with the Stylish Stocking Die set.

My first project is using the Holiday Stocking set and Stylish Stocking Die set.

I created a Kraft card base and then I stamped the sentiment in the center of the card. I die cut some Pattern Paper using a small stitched circle die. Then I adhered the circles around the sentiment. I stamped each stocking image onto some X-PRess It blending cardstock and colored them in. I used the coordinating die to cut them out. I stamped the top of the stocking image onto a piece of pattern paper and cut them out and then added some shading with a Copic.

For my next card, I went a little Retro or that was the feeling I was trying to get.

I created a Distress Ink Background on a piece of watercolor paper using Twisted Citron and then I added some water drops and picked them up with a paper towel for the Distressed look. Once that was dry I added some circles with a stencil and some White pigment ink to create a Bokeh effect. Then I die cut the shaker from some Woodgrain Watercolor paper and added some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I die cut the tops of the ornaments from some Silver paper and adhered those to the card front.

I created the Shaker using the sentiment from the Ornamental Wishes on the inside and filled it with a Christmas Shaker filling. I adhered the shaker over the other two ornaments. I took some of the trees and gems from the filling and created some Holly for the top of the ornament.
